About the Temple
The Sri Yuva Suhasini Yadadri Kshethram, popularly known as the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, is an architectural and spiritual landmark nestled on a serene hillock in Parvathapurm, Peerzadiguda, near Uppal. The sacred sanctuary was established through the vision and unwavering spiritual devotion of Sri Sri Sri Yadamatha, a revered ascetic and ardent devotee of Lord Narasimha, who conceptualized the temple grounds as a haven for spiritual solace.
A historic milestone for the region took place on the auspicious morning of April 22, 1999, at exactly 7:45 AM, when the temple officially opened its doors to the public. The formal consecration ceremony (Vigraha Pratishtha) of the divine idols was performed by the sacred hands of the globally renowned spiritual leader, Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamy. The complex Vedic rituals and foundational ceremonies were executed under the expert guidance and supervision of Yajnacharya Sriman Samudrala Narasimhacharyulu, strictly adhering to the holy tenets of the Sri Pancharatra Divya Agama Shastra and the centuries-old Thenacharya tradition.
Architectural Highlights & Divine Presence
The temple stands out due to its striking integration with the natural topography of the Parvathapurm hillock, where the inner sanctum houses a magnificent, beautifully sculpted 8-foot-tall idol of Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy depicted in a powerful yet benevolent posture. Seamlessly blended with the natural rock face right next to the main shrine is an awe-inspiring, 20-foot-high representation of Adisesha, the divine multi-headed serpent mound, masterfully carved directly out of the monolithic stone.
Since its historic opening in 1999, the temple has grown from a quiet local hillock into a highly revered regional hub. It draws hundreds of daily devotees and visitors from across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad who climb the hillock to experience its peaceful atmosphere, completely insulated from the hustle and traffic of the nearby Warangal Highway.
